使用 Rectangles 和 PolyCollections 构建直方图#

使用路径补丁绘制矩形。使用大量 Rectangle 实例的技术,或者使用 PolyCollections 的更快方法,是在我们在 mpl 中使用 moveto/lineto、closepoly 等正确路径之前实现的。现在我们有了它们,我们可以使用 PathCollection 更有效地绘制具有同质属性的规则形状对象的集合。这个例子制作了一个直方图——一开始就设置顶点数组需要做更多的工作,但是对于大量对象来说应该更快。

需要注意的是,我们也可以直接使用顶点和代码创建复合路径,而不是创建一个三维数组和使用make_compound_path_from_polys,如下所示
